Biography
Gita Pullapilly is an American film and television director, screenwriter and producer. She works primarily with her husband and creative partner, Aron Gaudet, under the banner Team A + G Productions.
She was born on 1 October 1977 in South Bend, Indiana. Pullapilly studied finance at the University of Notre Dame and journalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School. Early in her career she worked in television news and documentary filmmaking. Her credits include the documentary The Way We Get By (2009), the feature Beneath the Harvest Sky (2013) and the comedy Queenpins (2021), all made with Gaudet. She has directed episodes of the anthology series Little America (2020–2022) and Tulsa King.
