Biography
Glen D. Hardin is an American pianist, arranger and session musician. Born on 18 April 1939 in Wellington, Texas, he began his career in the early 1960s, playing with the Crickets and as a member of the house band on the television show Shindig!.
From 1970 to 1976 Hardin was the pianist in Elvis Presley’s TCB Band. He toured and recorded with Presley, arranged several of his hits including “The Wonder of You”, and appeared in the concert films Elvis: That’s the Way It Is (1970), Elvis on Tour (1972) and Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii (1973). He has also worked with Roy Orbison, Emmylou Harris, John Denver and many other artists.
Hardin is seen in archive footage as Self in the 2026 documentary EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert.
