Biography
Gloria Muñoz is a Spanish actress born on 9 July 1948 in Madrid. She began her career in 1965 in the theatre company led by Amelia de la Torre and Enrique Diosdado, and has since worked extensively in theatre, film and television.
She is known for roles including Alicia in The Flower of My Secret (1995), Aurora in El Bola (2000), Carmen in Yucatán (2018) and Hopelessly Devout (2018), and Amelia Linares in La que se avecina. More recent credits include Mariona in Land of Women (2024) and Madre de Elsa in Bitter Christmas (2026).
Muñoz has appeared in numerous stage productions and received awards including the Premio Teatro de Rojas in 2011. She is the mother of the late actor Julián Ortega.
