Biography
Godwin Egbo, also credited as Godwin Chiemerie Egbo, is a Nigerian actor. He made his screen debut as Akinola (Akin) in the 2025 drama My Father's Shadow, directed by Akinola Davies Jr. and written by Davies Jr. and Wale Davies.
In the film, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, Egbo appeared opposite his real-life brother Chibuike Marvellous Egbo, who played the other lead child role of Olaremi (Remi). The brothers received a nomination for Best Newcomer at the National Film Awards UK.
