Biography
Gok Wan is a British television presenter, fashion stylist and author. Born in Leicester in 1974, he trained in performing arts at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama before moving into hair and make-up and then fashion styling for magazines and celebrities.
He became widely known as the presenter of Channel 4's How to Look Good Naked (2006–2010) and subsequent series including Gok's Fashion Fix and Say Yes to the Dress Lancashire. Wan has also appeared as a guest on panel shows such as Would I Lie to You? and as Self in the fashion episode of Rob & Romesh Vs (2019). He has written several books on fashion and cooking, and was appointed MBE in 2019 for services to fashion and social awareness. Early in his career he performed in pantomime.
