Biography

Goran Bogdan is a Croatian actor. He was born on 2 October 1980 in Široki Brijeg, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then part of Yugoslavia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb and later from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in 2012, having begun his acting career with the Zagreb Youth Theatre.

Bogdan has appeared in more than 40 films and numerous television series since 2005. He is known for roles in Goltzius & the Pelican Company (2012), The Priest's Children (2013), The Last Panthers (2015) as Milan, Fargo (2017) as Yuri Gurka, Father (2020), Faraway (2023), and The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent (2024) as Dragan. For his performance in Agape (2017) he received the Vladimir Nazor Award, and his work in Father earned him a nomination for Best European Actor at the European Film Awards, the first for a Croatian actor.
