Biography
Gösta Lewin (1920–2016) was a Swedish film editor, director and screenwriter. He worked as an editor on several feature films in the early 1950s, including Summer with Monika (1953), directed by Ingmar Bergman, where he shared credit with Tage Holmberg.
Lewin later directed and wrote feature films and numerous short films. His directing credits include 91:an Karlsson slår knockout (1957) and Resa i toner (1959), the latter of which he also wrote. He trained at Otte Sköld's art school and had earlier worked in painting and exhibitions before entering the film industry at Svensk Filmindustri in 1952.
