Biography
Grady Hall is an American director of commercials and music videos, as well as a screenwriter and producer. He began his career in syndicated television at Warner Bros., later working as a development executive for producer Douglas S. Cramer. He was a staff writer on the series The Outer Limits (2002) and a founding director of the production company Motion Theory, which he helped expand into live-action and visual effects work; he later took a creative role at its offshoot Mirada.
In 2010, Hall served as consulting producer on six episodes and director of one episode of Sam Raimi’s series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. He has directed music videos for artists including Beck, Katy Perry and Capital Cities, receiving a Grammy nomination and an MTV Video Music Award. In 2014 he joined Partizan Entertainment, where he has directed campaigns for brands including Microsoft.
