Biography

Guillaume Roussel is a French composer of film and television scores. Born on 18 March 1980 in France, he trained in classical music and piano from the age of five, later studying jazz and orchestral conducting. He conducted the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in 2006 and joined Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions in Los Angeles in 2010.

Roussel has composed original scores for films including 3 Days to Kill (2014), The Connection (2014), The Man with the Iron Heart (2017), The Stronghold (2021), The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan (2023), The Three Musketeers: Milady (2023), Expend4bles (2023) and Lift (2024). His television work includes the Netflix series The Spy (2019). He received César nominations for best original music for The Stronghold and The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan.
