Biography
Hana Slivková was a Slovak actress. Born Hana Mihalová on 21 August 1923 in Rajec, Czechoslovakia, she began her career with an engagement at the Slovak National Theatre in Nitra from 1942 to 1946. She later performed at theatres in Prešov, Prague and Bratislava before working as a freelance actress from the late 1950s.
She is known for her role as Evelyna Brtková in the Academy Award-winning film The Shop on Main Street (1965). Other screen credits include Tri dcéry (1968), Ružové sny (1977) and several television productions. Slivková died on 3 January 1984 in Bratislava.
