Biography
Hannah Jones (1872–1949) was a British actress. Born in Shoreditch, London, she trained at the Royal Academy of Music and worked as a professional singer and stage actress, appearing in Ivor Novello's musical The Rat at the Prince of Wales's Theatre.
She had supporting roles in several early films by Alfred Hitchcock, including Downhill (1927) as a dresser, Champagne (1928), Blackmail (1929) as the landlady, Murder! (1930) as Mrs Didsome, and Rich and Strange (1931) as Mrs Porter. Other credits include Piccadilly (1929) and Elstree Calling (1930). She died in Wood Green, London.
