Biography
Hanne Stensgaard is a Danish actress. Born on 7 August 1953, she first qualified as a handicraft teacher before training at the Aarhus Theatre School from 1976 to 1979. She has been associated with Aarhus Teater and several Copenhagen theatres.
Stensgaard is known for playing the young Filippa in the Academy Award-winning film Babette's Feast (1987). She also appeared as Princess Miamaja in the Danish Christmas television series Jul på slottet (1986) and in episodes of Kaj Munk (1986) and Rejseholdet (2002). In addition to acting, she has directed and written for television.
