Biography
Hans Croiset is a Dutch actor and stage director. He was born on 15 October 1935 in Amsterdam and is the son of actor and director Max Croiset and the brother of actor Jules Croiset.
He has appeared in films including A Bridge Too Far (1977) and A Question of Silence (1982), in which he played the Judge. His career has been primarily in theatre, where he has also directed and founded companies including Publiekstheater and Het Toneel Speelt.
Croiset announced his retirement from acting in May 2022. He has also worked as a writer, publishing an autobiography and novels.
