Biography
Hans Veerman (1933–2014) was a Dutch actor and radio play performer. He trained as a hoorspelacteur in the 1950s and was a member of the Nederlandse Radio Unie’s core radio drama ensemble. He later worked extensively in theatre, film and television, appearing in numerous Dutch productions from the 1970s onwards.
Veerman had recurring roles in the television series Medisch Centrum West (as Maurice Albers) and Dossier Verhulst (as De Vos). His film credits include Spetters (1980), The Lift (1983), The 4th Man (1983) as the undertaker, Flesh + Blood (1985) and Wilde Mossels (2000). He was the long-term partner of actor Hans Karsenbarg and occasionally stood in for him in Baantjer.
