Biography
Harald Madsen (1890–1949) was a Danish actor. He appeared in more than fifty films between 1917 and 1948.
Madsen formed a long-running comedy partnership with Carl Schenstrøm as the duo Fyrtårnet og Bivognen (known internationally as Pat and Patachon, among other names). Their films included Han, hun og Hamlet (1932), I de gode, gamle dage (1940) and Calle og Palle (1948). He also had an uncredited role as a wedding musician in F. W. Murnau’s The Last Laugh (1924).
He made his screen debut in the Swedish film Alexander den Store (1917) and worked extensively in Denmark and abroad.
