Biography
Harald Zwart is a Dutch-Norwegian film director, writer and producer. Born in Leiden, Netherlands, in 1965, he was raised in Fredrikstad, Norway, and trained at the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam.
He began his career with short films, music videos and commercials before directing features including Hamilton (1998), One Night at McCool's (2001), Agent Cody Banks (2003), The Pink Panther 2 (2009), The Karate Kid (2010) and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013). Later credits include The 12th Man (2017). He co-founded the production company Zwart Arbeid with his wife, producer Veslemøy Ruud Zwart.
