Biography
Harry Keller (1913–1987) was an American film editor, director and producer. He entered the industry as an editor in 1936 and began directing in the late 1940s, working extensively at Republic Pictures on Westerns before moving to Universal Pictures.
Keller directed features including The Blonde Bandit (1949), The Unguarded Moment (1956) and Quantez (1957). In 1958 he directed additional scenes and reshoots for Orson Welles’s Touch of Evil. He later produced several films and continued editing into the 1980s, including Stir Crazy (1980) and Stripes (1981). He received one Boxoffice Blue Ribbon Award for The Brass Bottle (1964).
