Biography
Harry Wootliff is an English film and television director and screenwriter. She trained as an actor at Elmhurst Ballet School and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Her debut short film Nits (2004) screened in Cannes Directors' Fortnight and was nominated for a BAFTA. Wootliff's feature debut Only You (2018), which she wrote and directed, premiered at the London Film Festival and won awards including the Critics' Award at the Dinard Film Festival and two British Independent Film Awards. Her second feature True Things (2021) premiered at the Venice Film Festival. She has also directed episodes of the series His Dark Materials (2022) and The Woman in the Wall (2023).
