Biography
Harvey Bernhard (1924–2014) was an American film producer. Born in Seattle, Washington, he served as a US Navy officer during the Second World War and graduated from Stanford University in 1947. He began his career in entertainment in Las Vegas before moving to Hollywood, where he worked in television documentaries with producers including David Wolper.
Bernhard's film credits as producer include The Mack (1973), The Omen (1976), Damien: Omen II (1978), The Final Conflict (1981), The Goonies (1985), Ladyhawke (1985, executive producer) and The Lost Boys (1987). He frequently collaborated with director Richard Donner.
