Biography
Hayden Pearce (1943–2009) was a Welsh production designer and art director. Born in Monmouthshire, he worked extensively in British film and television, often on low-budget horror productions in the 1970s and 1980s before shifting to Welsh-language and independent features.
His credits include production design on Inseminoid (1981), Bloody New Year (1987, on which he also served as writer and producer), Go Now (1995), Solomon & Gaenor (1999) and A Way of Life (2004). He frequently collaborated with his wife, art director Frazer Pearce. Pearce received three wins and one nomination for his work.
He died in Frome, Somerset, in December 2009.
