Biography
Helen Lewis was a Canadian film editor who worked primarily in the British film industry from the late 1920s to the 1940s. Her early credits include work with director Josef von Sternberg on The Dragnet (1928), The Docks of New York (1928) and Thunderbolt (1929).
Later films include The Case of Lena Smith (1929), Wives Beware (1932), Turkey Time (1933), A Cuckoo in a Nest (1933), Lady in Danger (1934), Talk of the Devil (1936), Coal Face, Canada (1943) and Mother and Her Child (1947). She was born on 11 April 1898 in Ontario, Canada; her date of death is unknown.
