Biography
Hélène Burls (1881–1967) was a British actress who appeared in films and television from the 1940s to the 1950s.
She was born Florence Mina Emma Burls on 7 July 1881 in Islington, London, and died on 1 September 1967 in Hastings, Sussex. Burls took small and often uncredited parts, including Flowerwoman in The Passionate Friends (1949) and Hypatia in The Ladykillers (1955). Other film credits include Quiet Weekend (1946), Dear Murderer (1947) and The Upturned Glass (1947). She also appeared in episodes of the BBC anthology series Sunday-Night Theatre between 1950 and 1956.
