Biography
Henriëtte Jacqueline Tol is a Dutch actress. She trained at the Toneelschool van Amsterdam, graduating in 1978, and made her professional stage debut in 1974 with Toneelgroep Centrum.
Tol first appeared on screen in the 1981 film Een vlucht regenwulpen and played Anna (Andrea) in Marleen Gorris’s De stilte rond Christine M. (1982; released in English as A Question of Silence). She has worked extensively in Dutch television, with long-running roles including Karin Alberts in the soap Goede tijden, slechte tijden (1991–1992) and Conny de Graaf in Westenwind (1999–2003). Later credits include Nina Bisschot in Keyzer & De Boer Advocaten (2005–2008) and Esther de Winter in Bloedverwanten (2010–2015). She has also appeared in numerous stage productions and musicals, including as Queen Wilhelmina in Soldaat van Oranje.
