Biography
Hero Muller was a Dutch actor. Born Heere Jurgen Vincentius Muller on 9 June 1938 in Groningen, he died on 26 July 2021 in Blaricum.
He trained at the conservatorium in The Hague and the Hochschule für Musik in Essen, initially as a singer, before moving into theatre and film. He appeared in the musical My Fair Lady and productions with the Nieuw Rotterdams Toneel and Noorder Compagnie. His film roles include a soldier in Soldier of Orange (1977) and Hein Josefs in The 4th Man (1983).
Muller worked extensively in Dutch television, with recurring parts in series such as Onderweg naar Morgen and Het Huis Anubis. He was also a voice actor, including as Cookie Monster in Sesamstraat, and directed radio plays. He was the father of actor Peter Paul Muller.
