Biography
Hideichi Nagahara was a Japanese screenwriter, also credited as Shuichi Nagahara. His earliest credited work was the screenplay for A Colt Is My Passport (1967). He co-wrote the screenplay for The War in Space (1977) with Ryūzō Nakanishi.
Nagahara wrote the screenplay for The Return of Godzilla (1984), the first entry in the Heisei Godzilla series. He received a credit on the American version Godzilla 1985 (1985). He died in Tokyo on 14 November 2001.
