Biography
Hikmet Taşdemir, also credited as Hikmet Daşdemir, was a Turkish actor. He was born on 24 November 1942 in Erzurum and died on 25 January 2024 in Tekirdağ.
Taşdemir appeared in numerous supporting roles in Turkish cinema and television from the early 1970s to the late 2000s, often portraying tough or villainous characters. He is noted for roles including Sevket in Yol (1982), Sihirbaz in The Man Who Saved the World (1982), Gaddar Kerim in Korkusuz Korkak (1979) and Mardinli Arif in Our Hope Is Şaban (1979). He was married to Rafiye Daşdemir from 1965 until her death in 2021.
