Biography
Hilarie Burton, also credited as Hilarie Burton Morgan, is an American actress and former television host. She began her career as a host on MTV's Total Request Live before making her acting debut with a guest appearance as herself on Dawson's Creek in 2002. She attended Fordham University.
Burton portrayed Peyton Sawyer on the WB/CW series One Tree Hill for six seasons from 2003 to 2009. Subsequent television roles include Sara Ellis on White Collar (2010–2013), Dr Lauren Boswell on Grey's Anatomy (2013), Molly Dawes on Forever (2014) and Karen Palmer on Lethal Weapon (2016). She co-hosted the Drama Queens podcast with former One Tree Hill co-stars Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Lenz until 2024. Burton is married to actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
