Biography
Hilary Rosenfeld is an American costume designer and production designer. Born in New York City on 3 February 1950, she is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
She designed costumes for the film Dirty Dancing (1987) and other features including At Close Range (1986), No Mercy (1986), Eyewitness (1981), Dominick and Eugene (1988) and Triumph of the Spirit (1989). Her theatre work includes Broadway productions such as Runaways (1978) and Taxi Tales (1978).
Rosenfeld has also served as production designer on films including Caught (1996) and Human Error (2005), and has worked as a part-time lecturer at Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media and Design.
