Biography
Hilda Stark is a production designer and art director who has worked in film and television. She is also credited as Hilda Stark Manos. She trained at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned an MFA in set and costume design, and holds a BS from Skidmore College. She also studied at the Central School of Art in London and began her career as an assistant designer on Broadway productions including Merlin and K2.
Stark’s credits as production designer include the series Banshee (2013–2016), The Good Fight, Dynasty, Crash and The Summer I Turned Pretty, as well as the films Fluke (1995), RoboCop 3 (1993) and If These Walls Could Talk (1996). Earlier she worked as art director on Wall Street (1987) and F/X (1986). She won a Primetime Emmy for outstanding art direction for the television film The Rat Pack (1998). She has taught production design at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
