Biography
Hiroki Hasegawa (長谷川 博己) is a Japanese stage, film and television actor. Born on 7 March 1977 in Tokyo, he graduated from Chuo University and trained as a stage actor at the Bungaku-za theatre company before leaving in 2006. He began appearing in small television roles in 2008 and made his film debut in 2011.
Hasegawa is known for lead and supporting roles in films including Why Don't You Play in Hell? (2013), Love & Peace (2015), Attack on Titan (2015), Shin Godzilla (2016) as Rando Yaguchi, Before We Vanish (2017) and Samurai Marathon (2019). He has also appeared in numerous television dramas. He won the Newcomer of the Year award at the 35th Japan Academy Film Prize for Second Virgin (2011) and received a nomination for Best Actor at the 40th Japan Academy Film Prize for Shin Godzilla.
