Biography
Hiroyuki Kawase is a Japanese actor. He began working as a child performer after joining the Nihon Jido theatre group and appeared in an episode of the television series The Guardman and a production of The Trojan Women.
His best-known roles are as the Beggar's Son in Akira Kurosawa's Dodes'ka-den (1970), Ken Yano in Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971) and Rokuro 'Roku-chan' Ibuki in Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973). He also appeared in episodes of Return of Ultraman (1971) and Mirrorman (1972), and in Zone Fighter (1973).
Kawase retired from acting in the mid-1970s. He later worked for Japan Airlines.
