Biography
Hiroyuki Nishimoto was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He began his career in the theatre company Bungakuza and co-founded Gekidan Kumo in 1963. He later joined Theatre Company Subaru in 1976.
Nishimoto appeared in the film Woman in the Dunes (1964) as a villager and in Goké, Body Snatcher from Hell (1968) as the pilot. He voiced Snufkin in the Japanese television adaptations of Moomin and provided dubbing for several Disney films.
He was born on 3 January 1927 in Tokyo and died on 19 April 2015.
