Biography
Holger Bendixen was a Danish actor who appeared in numerous uncredited and supporting roles in American films and television from the late 1940s to the 1970s.
Born in Copenhagen, he made his screen debut in the mid-1940s with uncredited parts including a German submarine commander in The Beginning or the End (1947) and a German soldier in Sealed Verdict (1948). He continued with similar background roles in The Reckless Moment (1949) and The Great Sinner (1949).
Bendixen is credited as a fisherman (uncredited) in Man's Favorite Sport? (1964) and appeared in later productions such as The Poseidon Adventure (1972) and Young Frankenstein (1974), as well as episodes of series including Columbo and Hart to Hart.
