Biography
Hong Zhang is a Chinese actress. She was born in April 1971 in Shanghai and trained at the Shanghai Beauty Art School.
She entered the film industry after placing in a 1988 Shanghai television beauty pageant. Her early roles include appearances in Black Puma (1989) and Black Snow (1992), in which she played Xiao Cui. She is also known for portraying Zhu Ying in The Blue Kite (1993).
Later credits include She Comes from Taipei (1992) and Sheng si jue ze (2000). She has also worked as a screenwriter.
