Biography
Howard Gertler is an American film producer. While at Princeton University he interned at Good Machine and later served as head of production at Process Media from 2001 to 2011. He founded the production company Little Punk.
Gertler has produced narrative and documentary films including Shortbus (2006) and How to Talk to Girls at Parties (2017), both directed by John Cameron Mitchell; World's Greatest Dad (2009); How to Survive a Plague (2012); Do I Sound Gay? (2015); Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution (2020) as executive producer; and All the Beauty and the Bloodshed (2022). He has received two Academy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination for his documentary work.
