Biography
Howard Read is a British screenwriter, comedian and animator. He is best known for his stand-up comedy and television work alongside his animated sidekick Little Howard, including the CBBC series Little Howard's Big Question (2009–2011), which he created, headed the writing for and animated. The series won a Writers' Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Children's Television Script.
Read has written extensively for children's television, including episodes of The Amazing World of Gumball (2014), Horrible Histories (2012–2019), Danger Mouse (2016), Dennis and Gnasher Unleashed (2016–2019) and the television film Rabbids Invasion: Mission to Mars (2021). His contributions to Horrible Histories formed part of the team that won a BAFTA for Best Children's Comedy.
