Biography
Hubert de Givenchy was a French fashion designer and costume designer. Born in Beauvais, he founded the House of Givenchy in 1952 and became known for his work in both couture and film.
He contributed costumes to several films, including Eyes Without a Face (1960), where he designed gowns for Edith Scob (uncredited). He frequently collaborated with Audrey Hepburn, designing her wardrobe for Funny Face (1957), Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), Charade (1963) and other films. He died in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 2018.
