Biography
Iain Armitage is an American actor. He was born on 15 July 2008 in Savannah, Georgia.
He first gained attention through his YouTube channel reviewing theatre productions. Armitage played Ziggy Chapman in the HBO series Big Little Lies (2017–2019). He is also known for portraying Sheldon Cooper in the CBS series Young Sheldon (2017–2024).
His other credits include roles in the films The Glass Castle (2017) and Our Souls at Night (2017), and voice work in Scoob! (2020). He is the son of actor Euan Morton and theatre producer Lee Armitage, and the grandson of former US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.
