Biography
Ian Deitchman is a writer and producer who frequently collaborates with Kristin Robinson. He graduated from Northwestern University's Radio/TV/Film programme and began his career working at Gracie Films for James L. Brooks.
Deitchman and Robinson wrote the feature film Life As We Know It (2010). Their television credits include episodes of Suits (2011), The Bold Type (2017), Game of Silence (2016), Carnival Row (2019), Ordinary Joe (2021) and the teleplay for Off Campus (2026). They created the series It's Not Like That (2026). Deitchman has served two terms on the Writers Guild of America, West board of directors (2009–2013) and is an adjunct professor in the Peter Stark Producing Program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
