Biography
Ian Sobel is a television writer and producer. His credits include writing episodes of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series (2014–2016), 12 Monkeys (2016–2017), Siren (2018–2019), Helstrom (2020), 9-1-1 (2021) and Snowpiercer (2024). He has also served as a producer on several of these series, including as co-executive producer on Snowpiercer.
Originally from St. Louis and a graduate of Emerson College, Sobel began his career in Los Angeles as a production assistant on commercials and music videos. He later worked as an assistant to a writer-producer before securing his first staff writing position and selling a pilot script. He co-created the series Harvest for Spike TV.
