Biography
Ian Thompson was an English actor. Born on 11 August 1939 in Chester, Cheshire, he appeared in numerous film and television roles from the 1950s onwards. He was credited under the name Ian Jacob Thompson on some productions.
His credits include the role of Derek in the 1973 film A Touch of Class, Major Barry in an episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot (2001), Graham Garwood in EastEnders, and appearances in series such as Doctor Who, Blake's 7, The Persuaders! and All Creatures Great and Small. He also worked as a voice actor in video games and dubbed productions. Thompson died on 16 July 2022.
