Biography
Ilias Logothetis was a Greek actor who appeared in theatre, film and television. He studied political science at Panteion University and trained at the Karolos Koun Art Theatre, graduating in 1967. He made his film debut in Babylonia (1970).
Logothetis was known for roles in films directed by Theo Angelopoulos, including Landscape in the Mist (1988), in which he played Seagull, and The Suspended Step of the Stork (1991), in which he played a colonel. He performed extensively on stage, including a long run in the play My Mother's Sin alongside his wife, the actress Maria Zachari. He died in Athens on 28 February 2024.
