Biography
Inna Payán is a Mexican film producer. She studied communication at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and from 1997 to 2004 served as director of the film department at Argos Comunicación, where she produced titles including La habitación azul (2002). She later worked independently and co-founded the production company Animal de Luz Films.
Payán is known for producing The Golden Dream (La jaula de oro, 2013), which won the Ariel Award for Best Picture, All the Silence (2023), The Wolves (2019) and On the Road (2025). She has also served as executive producer on series such as Cecilia (2021) and Natural Born Narco (2022). In 2026 she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Women in Film and Television at the Guanajuato International Film Festival.
