Biography
Iris Adrian, born Iris Adrian Hostetter, was an American actress and dancer. She began her career as a chorus girl, appearing in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1931 and touring with Fred Waring before entering films in the late 1920s.
She appeared in supporting roles in more than 150 films and television productions, often as wisecracking characters, including Lady of Burlesque (1943), The Paleface (1948) as Pepper, The Odd Couple (1968), The Love Bug (1968) and Freaky Friday (1976). She also worked under the name The Landrews Sisters.
Adrian died in Los Angeles in 1994.
