Biography
Isabel Quinteros is an actress working in film, theatre and television. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, in 1956, she moved to Argentina in 1975 and trained at the Centro Nacional de Artes in El Salvador and the Escuela Nacional de Arte Dramático in Buenos Aires.
She began her screen career in the 1980s with roles in Night of the Pencils (1986) and Night of the Pencils (as Mujer humilde). Later credits include Legions (2022) as Isarrina and When Evil Lurks (2023) as María Elena Gómez. She has also appeared in television series including Chicago P.D. (2014) as a nurse.
Quinteros has worked extensively in Argentine theatre and received awards including the Premio Festival de Cartagena for best leading actress for Ciudad Oculta (1989) and the Premio Festival de Pergamino for best supporting actress for Hasta donde llegan tus ojos (1995).
