Biography
Isabelle Dedieu is a French film editor. Born on 20 April 1956 in Paris, she began her career as an assistant editor before her first solo credit on Alain Cavalier's Thérèse (1986), for which she received the César Award for Best Editing.
Dedieu has worked extensively with director Denys Arcand. She edited Jesus of Montreal (1989), winning the Genie Award for Best Editing, and The Barbarian Invasions (2003), for which she was nominated for a Genie Award. Her other credits include The Hour of the Pig (1993), Wah-Wah (2005), Days of Darkness (2007), An Eye for Beauty (2014) and Rafiki (2018).
