Biography
Isabelle Sobelman is a French screenwriter, novelist and art critic. Born in 1962 in Boulogne, she has written novels including Jalouse (1989) and En attendant Beckett (1987).
She co-wrote the screenplay for the biographical film La Vie en Rose (2007, also known as La Môme) with director Olivier Dahan. The film, which depicts the life of Édith Piaf, starred Marion Cotillard. Sobelman is also credited as writer on Larry & Viv and appeared as herself in the 2003 television documentary Piaf, sans amour on n'est rien du tout.
