Biography
Itziar Castro i Rivadulla (14 February 1977 – 8 December 2023) was a Spanish actress. Her professional career began in 2002 with a role in the feature film Noche de fiesta. She gained her first credited feature film part in Unconscious (2004) and appeared in television series such as El cor de la ciutat.
Castro is known for her role as Goya Fernández in the series Locked Up (2015–2020) and its spin-off Locked Up: The Oasis (2020). Other notable screen credits include Blancanieves (2012) as Tocinillo de cielo, Skins (2017) as Itziar (for which she received a Goya Award nomination for Best New Actress), Champions (2018) as the mother of Jesús, and The Coffee Table (2023). She also appeared in Alpha Males (2022) and earlier in La que se avecina (2007).
