Biography
Itziar Ituño Martínez is a Spanish actress who works in both Basque and Spanish. Born in Basauri, Biscay, she trained at the Basauri Theater School and graduated in urban-industrial and political sociology from the University of the Basque Country. Her first screen appearance was in the Basque film Agur Olentzero, agur (1997). She gained prominence in the Basque Country through her long-running role as Nekane Beitia in the soap opera Goenkale (2001–2015).
Ituño is best known for playing Inspector Raquel Murillo, later known as Lisbon, in the series Money Heist (2017–2021). She has appeared in films including Loreak (2015), Igelak (2016), Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil (2018), Twin Murders: The Silence of the White City (2019) and Irati (2023). She is also a singer in the bands Dangiliske, EZ3 and INGOT.
