Biography
Iván M. Lacámara is a Spanish composer and member of the music department for film and television. Born in Zaragoza in 1977 into a family of musicians, he began his musical studies at the age of five and later worked in promotions for Telecinco from 1997.
He has composed original scores for numerous Spanish television series, including Money Heist (2017–2021), Vis a Vis (2015–2020), Sky Rojo (2021–2023), El Barco (2011–2013) and Un paso adelante (2002–2005). He has frequently collaborated with composer Manel Santisteban.
Lacámara has received the Musimagen award for music in Spanish audiovisual works for Money Heist and Vis a Vis, and won a Camille Award in 2022 for the Money Heist score. He has also released albums featuring orchestral suites of his television music.
